Milford School District Video Production Courses

The Milford School District offered a number of video production courses, including adult education, middle school enrichment and high school classes. This information was current as of 1999.

Adult Education:   This eight evening course was offered occasionally and focused on the basics:  camera operations, character generation, simple special effects generation, and basic editing.

Enrichment:   Covered much of the same material as the adult education course, this program was geared to a small group of 4 to 6 Middle School students, who worked six days after school on a group project: either a public service announcement or a mock advertisement.

High School:   Critical viewing, pre-production planning, the basics and a number of projects comprised the core of this program. Projects included basic camera operations (an interview), a public service announcement, a group commercial advertisement, an independent music video, and a three camera final group project.
